Aktif Tekerlekli Sandalye Nedir?


Aktif tekerlekli sandalyeler kişiye özel imal edilen tekerlekli sandalye modelleridir. Kişinin bire bir beden ölçüleri alınarak üretici firma tarafından verilen ölçüler doğrultusunda imalatı yapılır. Aktif tekerlekli sandalyeler hafif ve dayanıklı olmaları için güçlendirilmiş alüminyum, karbon fiber, titanyum gibi özel metallerden imal edilirler. Bas çıkar teker özelliği, sırt kısmının öne yatar olması, ayaklık bölümünün çıkartılabilir olması gibi işlevsel ve çok fonksiyonlu özelliklere sahip tam anlamıyla özel ürünlerdir.

Daha çok üst gövde kontrolü iyi olan engelli bireyler tarafından kullanılan tercih edilen aktif sandalyeler kullanıcıya transfer sırasında kolaylık sağlaması, transfer sonrası sandalyenin bizzat kullanıcı tarafından araca alınabilmesi, hafif olması nedeniyle tercih edilirler.

Sökülebilir aktif tekerlekli sandalye modelleri ise üst bölümde söylenildiği gibi arka büyük tekerlerin basit ve tek hamlede çıkarılabilir olması, sırt kısmını öne yatırılması, ön ayak bölümünün çıkartılır olması özelliğine sahiptir.
