Bir dünya markası Invacare’den bir dünya harikası aktif tekerlekli sandalye, Top End Terminator. Terminator  6061 T6 alüminyum ve titanyum’dan üretilmiştir. Buda ona adını veren Terminator gibi dayanıklı ve sert kılan bir özellik olarak karşımıza çıkıyor. Toplam boş ağırlığı 9 kilo terminator 120 kilograma kadar taşıma kapasitesine sahiptir.

Ergonomik koltuk seçeneği, doğru duruş, basınç dağılımı ve itiş gücü sağlar. Arka süspansiyon seçeneği sırt ağrısı veya bacak spazmları olanlar için idealdir.

Her zaman kullanıcı konforuna odaklı aktif sandalye üretimine ağırlık veren Invacare bu tercihini Terminator aktifte de kullanmıştır. Özel olarak oturma minderi sırt dayaması ve tüm bunların çok basit şekilde kişiye özel ayarlanır olması ürünü farklı kılan özelliklerdir.

Doğru pozisyonda oturma az güçle çok itme. Terminatör bu modelde koltuk oturma pozisyonuna en optimum itiş gücü yapılacak şekilde ayarlamıştır.

Bu sayede kullanıcı çok az güç harcayarak aktif sandalyenin çemberine güç vererek benzersiz bir itiş yapar. Buda kullanıcıyı günlük aktivitelerde daha seri, daha pratik, daha çabuk olmasını sağlar.

Bazen kalite ayrıntılarda gizlidir. Invacare aktif sandalye mühendisleri bu durumu açıklarken şu kelimeleri kullanıyor, “Invacare aktif sandalye grubunda tamamen kullanıcının konforu ön plana alınarak tasarım yapılmaktadır. Tasarımda 10 kişilik ekibimizle sürekli beyin jimlastiği yaparak prototipler üzerinde çalışmaktayız. Top End Terminator daha tasarım aşamasındayken genç mühendislerimizden biri ortaya parlak bir fikir attı. Fikrin mantığı şuydu. Kullanıcı öyle bir konumda sandalyede otursun ki sandalyenin çemberine güç verdiğinde verilen güç en optimum şekilde çembere hareket versin.

Düşük güç kullanımda bile çember bir tam tur atabilsin. Bu harika bir fikirdi. Ve tasarım aşamasında mühendislerimiz bu fikre yoğunlaşarak Terminator u imal ettik.
